Cynical Orange 1, Blizzard Axel 1, Charm Angel 1, and six other new series and standalones (m&c! 18 August 2008 manga and manhwa)

R eal early for a change. The Week III m&c! manga and manhwa, not my post; my post is late. You probably already went to Gramed and browsed (this being the long, Indonesian independence weekend), if not bought these titles that were expected to come out 18 August but were seen sneaking in from Saturday, in some areas even streeting as early as the 15th.

Still, I'd like to blab some (more) about m&c!'s new series and standalones that initially had me stumped. First off, I was right in presuming that m&c! meant Cynical Orange 1, NOT Cynical Orange 2 (that was scheduled for sale in the third week of August).

Secondly, new manga and manhwa make up 64 percent of the total weekly releases (there's only one finale— volume 2 of Hayate's Soul). It's worth noting that nearly all are from Shogakukan, serialized either in ChuChu or Ciao. I translated selected synopses; they're after the refresher manga, manhwa, and manhua list.
